About

I love telling stories that help us understand the key issues of our times, and illuminate the impact ‘disruptive’ women can have.

I’m a creative at my core, with the operational expertise to always get the job done efficiently and calmly.

For audio

I’m an expert in leading end-to-end production, and in developing stories that sharpen a show’s creative voice and editorial vision. Most recently, I was the Senior Producer of Our Body Politic, a nationally-syndicated public radio show and podcast. Created and hosted by award-winning journalist Farai Chideya, Our Body Politic unapologetically centers women of color in politics and civic life. I led an incredible team of producers to create this weekly Webby-nominated show, and I helped launch our Guest Host pipeline to bring high-profile and new talents to air. I was also a writer and script coordinator for the audio series ‘MTA: Ride or Die with Rattlestick Playwrights Theater.’

For screen

I love to tell stories that feature badass women kicking down doors. My screenwriting credits include the award-winning film short ‘In Case We Get Found’; pilot ‘Sox News’ with Martian Entertainment (Best Writing at ITVF 2015); and digital series ‘SPARKLE: A Don Quixote Story’ with InstaMiniSeries. I was a semi-finalist for the 2023 Screencraft Pilot Competition, and I’ve also been a script coordinator on a number of projects.

For stage

My plays have been presented in New York City by Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, Primary Stages and HERE Arts Center; and regionally at Great Plains Theater Conference and and Rhinofest. I’m a Heideman Award finalist, a New York Innovative Theater Award nominee for Best Original Full Length Script, and a Sam French OOB One-Act Festival production. I was part of the inaugural Speakers’ Corner at Gingold Theatrical, and a member of Middle Voice at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater.

In everything I do

My calling cards are crisp storytelling, clear communications, and collaborative systems where everyone can do their best work. BA, Johns Hopkins University; MFA in Playwriting at The New School. Toddler mom, and wannabe dog-mom. I also love long walks on the beach, but who doesn’t?
